Our Engineering Department is equipped with a state-of-the-art CAD/CAM system  to assist customers in product design, as well as design of die and all tooling equipment. Software includes:

There is no charge to estimate production costs. Our experienced staff ensures the accuracy and accountability of our costs.

Engineering Assistance
Lakeview's engineering assistance  is available to all our customers to help guard against excess cost due to over-design or product failure from under-design. Some of the more important considerations include:

• configuration
• corrosion resistance
• weight to strength ratio
• degree of tolerance
• metal selection for best product performance and appearance
• degree of fatigue
• most economical methods of forming complex shapes
• yield and rupture strengths needed
• required ductility and weldability
• planning for secondary machining operations.

Die Sinking
Lakeview maintains complete die-sinking facilities to produce and repair dies. This ensures complete control and critical documentation of tooling performance during production runs.
